EU approve PCA signing with Vietnam | Welcome to Vietnam
Representatives from twenty seven member countries of the eu Union (EU) approved the signing of a partnership and cooperation agreement (PCA) with Vietnam at the EU Foreign Ministers Meeting in Brussels, Belgium on might fourteen.
Consisting of eight chapters and sixty five articles, the PCA defines basic principles in Vietnam-EU relationships, whereas specifying a comprehensive cooperation framework in varied fields together with trade, investment, and judiciary, peacekeeping and international security.
The PCA was initialled by Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung and European Council President José Manuel Barroso in October, 2010 once 2 years of negotiations. it’s expected to bring the Vietnam-EU relationship into a replacement amount of bigger cooperation.
